BB10 Enters World Stage In Florida
May 3rd, 2012 by ElizaP
BlackBerry World 2012 in Orlando, Florida ends today, but not without a huge presentation from Research In Motion. Yesterday, the company announced and revealed their first smartphone running on their future operating system – BlackBerry 10. BB10 was demonstrated at the BlackBerry World conference, where spectators quickly realized the new smartphone’s resemblance to the PlayBook. While the form of the device used in the presentation may not be the one to appear in stores, developers will receive the device and use it for testing their BB10 apps. An interesting feature of the new phone, scheduled for release near the end of this year, is a camera app which begins capturing images and still frames as soon as it’s loaded so that the owner can rewind through the captured frames. The phone also features a touch keyboard that includes auto-correct with a twist.
